I teach because I love teaching.
To me, teaching is one of the most important, fun, and rewarding things I get to do in graduate school. As reflected by my students’ course evaluations, I am an enthusiastic instructor who dedicates a lot of time to preparing lessons and providing personalized guidance. This is because I strongly believe in education as an enterprise and sociology as a discipline.
By consistently pursuing my teaching objectives, I seek to empower lifelong learners and knowledge producers. More importantly, I hope my students will use what they learn in sociology courses to bring about positive change beyond the classroom.
